How to Create a Class

Organize your lecture content effectively by creating classes in Voice Scholar. This guide will walk you through the process.

What Is a Class?

In Voice Scholar, a "class" is a way to organize related lecture content. Think of it as a folder or course that contains all your lectures for a specific subject. Classes help you keep your content structured and make it easier to find specific lectures when you need them.

Physics 101
Lecture 1: Kinematics
Lecture 2: Forces
Lecture 3: Energy
Calculus II
Integration Techniques
Series and Sequences
Parametric Equations

Benefits of organizing your content into classes:

Improved Organization

Keep all lectures for the same course or subject together, making it easier to find content when reviewing for exams.

Better Analytics

Get subject-specific insights and topic strengths based on your performance within each class.

Navigate to the Classes Section

Start by navigating to the Classes section in your Voice Scholar dashboard. This is where you'll manage all your class content.

  • Log in to your Voice Scholar account

Make sure you're logged in to access your personal dashboard.

  • Look for the "Classes" option in the sidebar

It's usually represented by a folder icon in the main navigation menu.

  • Click on "Classes" to enter the section

This will display all your existing classes or prompt you to create your first one.

On mobile devices, the Classes option may be in the bottom navigation bar or in the hamburger menu.

Add a brief description to help you remember what this class covers.

  • Category (Optional)

Select a category like "Science," "Mathematics," or "Humanities" to further organize your classes.

  • Color (Optional)

Choose a color to visually distinguish this class from others in your dashboard.
